Here's my take on Dishka,

When a shaktipat occurs, dishka can

occur. This is the Hindu or Sanskrit term for this process. Often this is used

as a jump start for the " sadaka " (devotee/student) to go beyond the present

state of affairs. Energy transference. So lets talk about hygiene. Energy

hygiene. Is the Guru practicing a control oriented system. Or is the Guru based

in love and respect and truth and healing. Remember the idea of " cost " . In

accepting are you giving up control? Can you feel confident that what is put in

your space you can take out if its not working or is working in ways that would

be hurtful? Will the Guru remove the energy at your request? Will this diksha

put you into a theological confinement?

 

If you open fully to this and surrender control of your energetic body too

this person - receiving the diksha - are you certain that they are going to

respect you as an individual outside of the Guru/student relationship?

 

I received diksha once and had control elements injected into my space thru

the diksha. Consider your energy fields as precious as your blood, especially if

you have kids because they also take part of the diksha by proxy.

 

Not saying not to go and as you have sourced it out and feel good with it

then this is good. Just some questions to consider. - love and peace - chrism
