Hi-

Thanks for this Tara. This peaks my attention. It seems in the

Kundalini endeavor that there must be some sort of intuitive discovery

and cultivation. In shamanic traditions the initiate is given a song

that is his or her private song of magic to use, but it must come from

an internal source. This can be a dream or a vision. With a practice

based in the Kundalini I would imagine that this internal formation be

essential. Internal symbols such as Images, prayers, sensations and the

like all relate to other subjective and personal elements that cannot

be clearly indicated from an external source and may not even be

perceived so clearly by the practitioner. But work with symbols

(images, feelings and such) relate to work on more subtle levels.

However what the symbol indicates is not based on the intrinsic

qualities of the symbol. It indicates the subtle and completely

subjective form in the individual. There is an active yet personal

relationship of the symbol to the individual. This active internal

relationship can only be derived from a purely internal revelation. So

there must be some sort of trail blazing for every active practitioner,

some sort of work just between you and divinity. Perhaps through this

work the perception of the subtle internal forms which are manipulated

by the symbols will develop. But even if not, there is still work going

on at a deeper level than just the visualization of the symbols

themselves.

This kind of talk is not much liked by religious institutions because

it shows their superfluousness. In history this language has often been

suppressed by spiritual institutions or obfuscated in their holy

scriptures. Look at how the Gnostic tradition faired with the early

Christians institutions. This even happens today in the New Age realms.

But the logic is apparent here. Attention to what divinity has to give

you and what only divinity can give to you to use is essential.

Another related thought to the above, one's participation is required

in one's unfolding. So many of the revelations and transformations of

the Kundalini experience are very spontaneous. There is certainly the

experience of something happening to you. But an element in your

transformation is your participation, your volition into what is

happening. I cannot see this as extreme as the " you make your own

reality " concept. Your volition is only an element, essential but not

nearly as much as you might like to think. The other extreme, that the

transformation will happen all on its own is not accurate either. There

are times when your volition is required, but not more so than is

needed. It often seems to me that in the construction that she is

doing, Grace will ask me to hold this board in place so she can nail it

in. Somehow she doesn't have enough hands to do this, and she makes it

my job. And then when she is done with my assistance in the task she

might not explain what it was all about. Maybe she can't explain until

it is all built. But she will probably ask me to do something again

soon and I know that what I do is somehow essential, regardless of

mystery of its purpose.

I want to thank you all for letting me write on about these things as

if I know what I am writing about. I need to give these ideas air, I am

compelled to do so. The thought that I am a teacher in this is painful

to me in its enticement. There is very little in honest ownership about

them and much in dishonest ownership, and complete unknowing if there

is any benefit to be had in their sharing. Let me say rather that if I

do not air these words then there will be an experience of me

resisting. Source is always a mystery, and even if I do not have the

authority of a channeler since I do not have the experience of a

channeler with these words I do have a compulsion to contemplation, so

I will call it " slow channeling. "
