Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just wanted to write to about a pretty interesting experience I had yesterday. There's this guy that I'm kind of not on good terms with. I don't really know him but the first time I met him he spoke to me in a way that was very offensive to me. At the time I was really heated and every time I saw him around campus after that incident I'd get angry at the sight of him. Earlier on in the day before I went to soccer practice I saw him and got angrier then ever. There were some pretty terrible thoughts running through my head actually and it disturbed me. I thought about what Chris said and just being able to forgive which I believe really helped and I thought it through and was able to genuinely forgive him. Before I went to bed I had to print out something for my class the following day and he happened to be on the elevator going to print something aswell. I saw him and was no longer angry and he was really nice actually and even asked me my name and shook my hand. When we both went our separate ways I was definitely flabbergasted. I know that this is a trivial example of being able to forgive but I feel that being able to forgive led me to truly see that he's okay whether or not he was trying to be obnoxious when I first met him. ~Yasha
