It took me a long time to figure out--right Chris?--but I finally got it. About a year ago, I started seeing a funnel of energy above my head. I had visions of a large Y (which I later discovered was a symbol for the " cosmic wo/man " ). When a kryia raised my arms and stuck them into the funnel, I felt a sticky, sweet substance that crawled into my heart chakra, giving me a few moments of mental and physical bliss. Unlike other, less predictable visions and kryias, the " cotton candy " (this is what I called it for lack of a better word) seemed to be always present in my meditations. Chris told me that it was the K going through my crown and forming a pool of energy above my head. Of course I believed him, but I just could not make any intellectual or experiential sense of the phenomenon. Finally, a couple of days ago, I had a clear vision of my K running up through my body and spraying out of my fountanelle, falling back onto my body and giving me a profound bliss. EUREKA! The traditional iconography of Shiva with the two rivers (Ganga and Yamuna) spraying out of his head came back to my mind, and finally I managed to put all the pieces together. (Chris: I know I should not intellectualize stuff, but I simply can't help...) Apparently, the K that sprays up from your crown has very healing properties. I am not sure how to access it during an energy treatment, though. Since it sticks to the body like cobwebs, I wonder if you can't grab it with your hands and smear it on people... The first time I experienced what is called 'nectar' or 'ambrosia' which tastes honey mixed with apricot, and can be a golden brown colour...it's the nectar of life...which we gain nourishment from . This happened at the same time I felt a 'happiness' mixed with 'excitement' and later I learned it what is called 'ecstatic bliss'. This is the feeling we will feel all the time once we have reached the stage of being balanced and complete within ourselves. The 'cotton candy' taste is different...it really does taste like the pink sugary flavour of cotton candy and you can see it in the minds eye as pink and whispery, or a bag of it bought at the store etc. This I've found happens when I'm clearing something from the past...literally something has been a sour taste to me, so it transforms into something sweet and nice and I release it this way. Usually I savour it and swallow it....sweet and lovely or I just let it go and it floats away somewhere..sometimes out of the crown chakra..I let the process go without hinderance. I don't know if the process for me is the same for others. It appears that my bad eating habits, which are emotionally based, have been created from my insecurities, fears, dependancies etc. As I clear these away, I go through a short period of feeling hungry but not finding anything that will satisfy the hunger. Then it's replaced with a craving for a good eating habit, such as organic vegetables or delicious fresh fruit. I even get to eat chocolate, pastries, cakes too and I don't put on weight...it's all to do with the mind and the emotion thats asociated with the food. Eventually, I'm finding that my nourishment is all coming from within, as I'm my own healer, and I have all that I want from my food in the physical and the nectar of life/prana in the spiritual..
