Guest guest
Hello Richard Jones, The spinning is very important and please do yourself a favor and go slowly at first. The spinning activates your first chakra. It will begin the process of bringing the K into the body small micro amounts. Make sure you are going left to right directionally. We like to go slowly and carefully allowing the body time to adjust. Please do all of the Tibetans but no more than six to start of each one. Once or twice a day depending on your enthusiasm. Steve can you write of your experiences here? - jajonesricksperdiego <rjones6134 wrote: Hi,rich jones here.Today I think I did the first exercise ,spinning, too much.I lost count of the numbers.Boy did I get dizzy.Wont do that much again.Otherwise, everything is fine. What is the purpose of the spinning? Guest guest
dear chrism, richard...etc, as a person who has little time for & hates any formal exercise (jogging, gyms...), i've enjoyed the 5 tibetans. they are simple and quick enough to easily do at least once daily. i've felt much stronger and in better shape since i've begun them. i usually keep my eyes shut for a brief time after spinning to avoid dizziness. if i keep them open, the sensation is irritating but not nauseating. (chrism, please let me know if spinning would be more effective if i kept them open) i'm up to 33 spins and about 11 repetitions of the others. but my favorite exercises are 'freeform' dancing and long nature hikes with friends. as for some of the more strange or interesting sensations during meditation, i'll strive to not become attached to these since they are just things that one experiences along the way. it is my opinion that the desire to re-experience these varieties of sensations may possibly prevent further progress and unfoldment (an addiction). my hope is to arrive at places of joyful purpose and service... to all, not just my own ego. fast healing to chrism! -steve f
