Hi Richard

I'd have to say we still have the triad, as long as we want. But it

brings up a related question. Someone, Tara I think, said that we all

share an energetic connection, or something along those lines. I

really liked the sound of that, but most of the time I still feel

pretty disconnected. I'm hoping this feeling will change as I get to

meet some people this weekend. The overt connections we share,

communicating like this with language, is never sufficient. Language

is not complete without facial expressions, postures and gestures --

not to mention other ways of communicating that go beyond language.

So meeting in this way comes off as a little superficial most of the

time. And we probably get all the wrong impressions a lot of the

time. Once I made friends with someone through a , and

called him on the phone and was just horrified at what a jerk he was.

But of course it could just as easily go the other way, and two

people who don't hit it off by email could " connect " really well face

to face. It's frustrating that you all live so far away. In fact, I

invite everyone to San Diego this weekend. Dinner's on me, and you

can sleep in -- well I've got some room in the back of the station

wagon! We're even expecting a huge snowstorm here in the mountains.

C'mon, John R, Austraila's not that far away, is it?

As the famous song lyric goes: " Hate California, it's cold and it's

damp. " ... which is true, in May and June. But if you come for

Christmas, don't forget your sunscreen! I guess we can't

complain...
