Guest guest
Thanks to all who have joined the conversation about off-topic topics. All your comments resounded, and were said in ways I couldn't get my fingers to type. I don't want to allienate anyone. We veg*ns need all the support we can get. I did, however, assume that even if some didn't agree with my position on the war, anyone who values live can understand why I would find the very idea sad. No matter how one feels about the current situation, war is sad. It's beyond sad. It marks a sad day in US history, even if we come out victorious. Lives will be lost, no matter how patriotic the soldier, how innocent the civilian, or how evil the dictator. And lost lives, in my book, are to be mourned. And Phil, as usual, I'm ROFL at: " Wow Sue, I must say, when you stop lurking you really stop lurking. " I had the same reaction but was a bit too defensive to be so astute. I agree that come Voting Day, we can - must - all really express our feelings about the war. In Peace, Doh
