Guest guest
I only purchase my nutritional yeast from a reputable source that I know has high turnover. I purchase a lot of bulk goods from this company www.healty-eating.com . I've never had any problems with them and i've been using them for several years. Here is a little info from their site: Red Star Vegetarian Support Formula (T-6635+) WF This is the original, good-tasting nutritional supplement, rich in B vitamins (including B12), with no added whey or sweeteners. It makes a delicious topping for main dishes and snacks, or can be used in an incredible variety of recipes to make cheese and other dairy substitutes (see The Nutritional Yeast Cookbook below). An inactive yeast, this product is suitable for yeast-free diets and has a shelf life of at least 18 months. Certified Kosher, exclusive of Passover, bearing the circle K symbol. I bought some from the regular grocery store and am thinking it might have sat there for a while in the store. Wont the yeast die after so long? And if it does die, does it lose its nutritional content? Rachael Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos, & more faith.
