I posted the same letter to this group that I posted to my local veggie parents group. My mistake. As for slow speech delay....I'm no doctor but it seems to me that your child is developing other aspects of his body/cognition/etc..... I've known children whose speech was delayed but they were doing *lots* of other things that children their age weren't normally doing. My oldest daughter was slow to develop physically but her speech was early. My second daughter developed physically (walking at 9 months, climbing too early for me...lol) and her speech is slower. I doubt his diet is the issue here. He's developing so wonderfully everywhere else, maybe the attention will turn to language later.
