Guest guest
We're in a similar situation with my 4-year-old daughter who weighs barely over 25 lbs. Sometimes I swear she doesn't eat enough to keep a bird alive! I wouldn't feel comfortable with any kind of protein powder for kids though, just try to keep it natural. Remembering that most people eat too much protein anyway, we rely mostly on tofu and meat analogs for protein. She loves tofu now that I finally learned this way to fix it... I freeze a brick of extra-firm tofu, then thaw in the microwave (makes it a little more 'tough'), cut into cubes & saute in a little olive oil. The tofu gets a chewy meaty-like texture, and you can throw it into a stir-fry or most any skillet dish that normally calls for meat. Hope that helps!
