Guest guest
Boy! Do I understand this one. My father-in-law is diabetic AND has heart disease but he still smokes and eats like s***. I watched him chow down on fried pork chops with cantelope (salt and pepper covered it) and fried okra. He still eats tons of candy and I don't think he's exercised a day in his life. It begs the question if he's all there...ya' know. I've tried talking to him or just making healthier foods for him and it falls on deaf ears and closed mouth. So, the last time we spoke of it I told him I was mad because his granddaughters love him soooo much and he's not doing a damned thing to stay in their lives longer. It's hard to be around him.
