flax oil and weight gain

I can't remember the brands. But, the cinnamon one

was in a black bottle..maybe Spectrum. The

butterscotch one was a bit expensive and it was

bottled as a child's oil. I got them both at our

WholeFood's by the supplements. They were in a small

fridge.

When my youngest was having problems with his weight

the doctors wanted him to drink more dairy. I did try

it and it didn't work..so we went back to my common

sense. He started eating more rich foods and we cut

down on the things that seemed to constipate him.

Bananas are still a big one for him. He can eat only

about a half a day and not everyday and he is almost 3

years old. We actually would only give him a few

foods a day until we found out anything that bothered

him or seemed to fill him up too much. Then we knew

the things we could give him to eat. He still gets

constipated really easy and I believe that was the

problem all along.

Making big smoothies really was a lifesaver for us

too. Fruit and juices have alot of calories and you

can add frozen peas or avocado and the kids won't

taste it! Olives are a great snack, too.

>>>>>>>We use flax seed oil about once a week, but

I've never

seen flavored ones...interesting, what is the brand?

We grind our own flax seeds daily because I've read

that they are healthier than the oil, but I'd love to

find a flavored flax oil for my husband (he doesn't

like the seeds).
