Guest guest
Genetically engineered foods continue to pose a risk to our families' and to the planet's overall health. Check out this humorous, yet sad, short movie from the current " Genetically Krafted Foods " campaign, asking our country's largest food producer Kraft Foods (part of the Phillip Morris family of companies) to go GE-free. Market research data has revealed that 99% of all U.S. households purchase Kraft products on a regular basis, including a favorite with many veg*ns -- Boca Products. Watch the movie with your children and explain to them what GE foods are and why they pose a health risk to them to the planet. Also, you may also explain why you choose the brands that you do for your family. For more information to help you along with the discussion, log on to the Genetically Krafted Foods campaign site at www.krafty.org Make sure that your computer has Flash software installed before watching the movie. Buy certified organic, locally produced foods for your family and support organic farmers and producers who operate under strict certification rules and don't use any genetically engineered seeds or ingredients. If your family is doing so, great! Click on this URL for a partial list of Kraft brand products that have GE ingredients in them and don't buy them: http://www.gefoodalert.org/library/admin/uploadedfiles/List_of_Kraft_Product s.pdf For a partial list of organic, non-GE foods and where to find them go to http://www.organicconsumers.org/purelink.html Email the CEO of Kraft Foods at http://www.gefoodalert.org/takeaction/ and ask the company to stop using the American the public in their " experiment " and stop using GE ingredients in their foods. (A note: Kraft Europe does not utilize any GE ingredient in any of their products.) Thanks for participating in the campaign! Guest guest
I had NO IDEA that Boca was Kraft. We boycot Kraft but do occassionally buy Boca products. It was not on my list of Kraft sub- companies and I never even checked the label. Guess no more Boca for me. Know of any other popular veg*n products owned by Phillip Morris (or other questionable companies)????
