Hm, first I heard that the question of which sperm makes it first to the ovum is culturally dependent ... at least, as far as food is concerned. Interesting theory. Do certain foods alter the vaginal environment so as to favour one sperm type over another? I do believe that *timing* is crucial (hey, Shettles worked for me!), but I'm not sure what the effect of food might be ... I think that eating a healthy diet during pregnancy and breastfeeding is particularly important for the health of the mother, since the baby will take what it needs ... Be well, Hadass in Winnipeg.
