Guest guest
Also, don't forget it is possible for women to nurse adopted children. There is a process to make yourself lactate. Contact LLL about it. Seriously! I've pumped milk (and nursed their babies at times) for few of my friends (long term in one case) who had different issues with nursing. Just a thought, Good luck and congratulations!!!!!! Contact LLL about it. Seriously! That is a wonderful idea, but she said that the baby is nine months old already, that would be really difficult to teach the baby to nurse and she probably wouldn't even know how to " work " a breast anymore. Guest guest
LLL is a great resource, so is Mothering Magazine. Mothering has a wonderful discussion board where I'm sure you'll find other mothers who have nursed their adopted children. Good luck.
