Phil,

My Grandmother used to make something similar with bananas. She split the

banana, rolled it in sugar and drizzled it with butter and cinnamon. Then

she wrapped the banana in a thin dough. These were so delicious!

Blessings,

Karla B.

Robin,

LOL! That is so funny about the tofu. I feel the same way. I tried using

some years ago and it was awful.

Now I buy the soy products already made into something; like Boca burgers or

" Chicken " fingers or soy " dogs " . I buy these inthe freezer section at my

local healthfood grocery store. There's a whole section of products made

with soy and most of them are very good.

Hope this helps,

Karla B.

Carmen,

www.vitaminshoppe.com seems a good place to get good vitamins at discounted

prices, though it also depends on what you plan on getting. As far as I

know, Traditional Medicinals teas are only available in stores, you can find

them in Whole Foods, Wild Oats, even in some bigger supermarket chains!

Good Luck!!

Cheers,

Janis

Does anyone know anything about New Chapter vitamins.

A friend of mine (who is not veg, but big into

alternative medicine) is very positive about New

Chapter since their supplements are made from whole

foods and they claim there caps are vegetarian.

Isn't there some way to " grow " some bacteria to produce the

necessary B-12, such as some kind of fermented food? It seems like,

since B-12 is produced in our intestines and can be found in nature,

we each could cultivate our own, without having to take a

manufactured pill. Any thoughts?

The probiotic for synergizing B 12 is the GIT is Bifidus. It thrives under

the same conditions as acidophilus.

Grow the bifidus inside the body.

Great food for bifidus is raw green leafy vegetables.
