Guest guest
I've only used water on a toothbrush and a washcloth to clean my 2-year old's teeth but believe that I should be using something more for the cleaning. I considered baking soda until I read that a child under 5 should not ingest the soda and I know my child would attempt to swallow it! What are the rest of you doing to clean your toddler's teeth? Any " kosher " recommendations?
Guest guest
What are the rest of you doing to clean your toddler's teeth? Any " kosher " recommendations? My child isn't a toddler anymore, but I've used various toothpastes over the yrs. We use homeopathic toothpaste. I don't see a kosher mark on it. I know that it is safe for all ages. They come in several flavors. My son likes the lemon, very mild. Peace, Laura
Guest guest
We use a very small amount of Orajel for toddlers (no floride) for my 17 month old. He seems to really like it and looks forward to brushing his teeth. Nancy
Guest guest
My 2 1/2 year old son also uses the Orajel Training toothpaste and he LOVES it. He begs to brush his teeth a million times a day. ______________________ Message: 18 Wed, 15 Jan 2003 08:40:52 -0500 nannzee Re: Search for Children's Teeth Cleaner We use a very small amount of Orajel for toddlers (no floride) for my 17 month old. Guest guest
Thank you all for your responses to my message about a tooth cleaner. The discussion about SLS was an eye-opener. I have been using Tom's of Maines for years and didn't realize that SLS was in it. I had planned to use the nonfluoride type for my child but will now look for another brand for the both of us. Thanks again!!!
Guest guest
To all I find it absouletly amazing where you find SLS. Pretty much anything that lathers. There are so many ingredients we are just unfamiliar with and not used to looking for! Enjoy the long weekend. ---- Friday, January 17, 2003 8:51:36 AM Re: Re: Search for Children's Teeth Cleaner Thank you all for your responses to my message about a tooth cleaner.
