Hi Lori, I think you responded to my post on the veg-DC list about having a

vegetarian pediatrician? If so, I'm sorry I lost track of your email and

couldn't respond to you directly, though it sounds like you are happy with

your current ped.

We live in Arlington, and LOVE our pediatrician. He's vegetarian himself, so

he has been a great support for us as our children have special needs and our

families on both sides believe that our veggie diet has something to do with

it! He sees you at the appointed time, the nurses-triage line calls back

usually w/in the hour if you call with questions, all the staff are really

friendly. Sometimes the scheduling line can take awhile, but most of the

time it's not bad. His name is:

Dr. Daniel Merenstein

3833 N. Fairfax Dr

Arlington, VA 22203

(703) 741-3000

Unfortunately, this won't be current for long because this is a Georgetown

Univ Hospital facility and the Hospital is closing it down 3/31/2003. Dr.

Merenstein is still working on where he will be going. We've told him

wherever he's going, we're going ...

Hi Theresa -- Yes, it was me on the veg-DC list. This address sounds like

it's in Ballston, which is SOOOO close to my house; I wish I'd had it

sooner. Oh well, I'll keep the name just in case. And, a couple of people

have told me that he will feel more comfortable with a man when he gets

older.

Thanks again,

Lori
