Guest guest
Sore throat? My mother in law's remedy is gargle with lemon juice with a little salt and a little vinegar as often as you can. A cup of water with a tablespoon of lemon, a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of vinegar. If it is too strong for you, you can dilute it with more water. It works for our family all the time. Hope it works for you too. Josephine - Lori Lugar ' ' Sunday, January 26, 2003 1:20 AM RE: Pediatricians Who's the dr in Vienna? Guest guest
I kept this just in case. And I'm so glad I did, I just cleaned out my in box, and then tried it on my sore throat. I had to use lime juice instead, but it seemed to work. Thanks so much. And I'm so glad I joined this group a couple of weeks ago, it is great to see so much good advice and great people helping each other out. I have a 2 yr old veg baby, and I'm 8 months preg. with our next baby. I'm so excited and more educated about choices for our diets than I was back in college when I first became semi vegetarian. Then since I was found to be anemic by the school doctor, which I imagine I had been for a very long time anyway, she said, just go eat a hamburger. Since then whenever I had eaten meat, I had tried to pretend I didn't know what it was, then when my cousin a veg for 7 years came to live with me during my first pregnancy, it became so much clearer and easier without influences for meat. Now, I follow what i've always felt was right, eating healthy with veggies. Just spilling my guts here, but wanted to say thanks for all the positive reinforcement I've felt since joining this site. Dilute if you must but it is better straight. Guaranteed next day relief. Braggs ACV can be bought at the health food store. Jane

Perhaps adding some raw honey to the vinegar gargle might help. Make sure you swallow the last gargle. Apple cider kills bacteria!
