Guest guest
Dear Friends~ I am compiling a vegetarian cookbook specifically for Mongolia, and I need your recipes! It will be a vegetable and fruit cookbook. I get so many questions about how to cook vegetables and prepare salads, and I would like to put together a book of recipes of the following locally available produce (some are seasonal): beets, turnips, potatoes, onions, broccoli, garlic, bok choy, cabbage (two kinds), lettuce, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, celery, radish, tomatoes, daikon (white radish), red radishes, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, corn (canned), bean sprouts, asparagus, sweet potatoes, local greens, olives, leeks, green onions, and peppers, AND bananas, apples, kiwi, watermelon, grapes, pineapple, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, strawberries, lemons, pears, peaches, dried fruits. I will accept up to 5 recipes per person, and your name will be included in the book with your recipe. Here are a few guidelines: --The recipes may be for cooked or raw fruits or vegetables, for appetizers, entrees, salads, or desserts! --Please only send original recipes, not recipes from cookbooks (because of copyright issues). You may send in recipes that you have adapted from a cookbook for Mongolia. Once you change the recipe, then it becomes " original. " --Please include container sizes. For example, say " one 425 gr. can of tomato sauce " instead of " one can of tomato sauce. " --Please write instructions in paragraph form, not numbered steps. --Send recipes to me via email to vegbaby or via fax to 775-522-2509 --Please say how many servings your recipe will make That's it! I thank you in advance for taking the time to share your recipes with me, and I hope we can collect enough recipes for a terrific local cookbook!
