Guest guest
Hi, The UK Vegan Society has recently added/improved some content on their website. There is a new FAQ list which existing or tentative vegans may find helpful, and an accompanying document entitled " Healthy Choices On A Vegan Diet " which provides up to date guidelines on good nutrition on a vegan diet. Also, some more detailed articles are available covering diet and bone health (and the benefits of a vegan diet in this regard), the potential risks of B12 deficiency raising homocysteine levels, current guidelines on nutrition for vegan children, and information for those pursuing a healthy vegan raw food diet. The links that will take you straight to these resources are as follows. If any of the links wraps onto a new line, you may have to " glue " it back together in your browser's address bar: FAQ http://www.vegansociety.com/html/faq/faq.htm Healthy Choices On A Vegan Diet http://www.vegansociety.com/html/info/healthychoices.html B12: An essential part of a healthy plant-based diet http://www.vegansociety.com/phpws/mod.php?mod=userpage & menu=106 & page_id=29 Diet and Bone Health http://www.vegansociety.com/phpws/mod.php?mod=userpage & menu=107 & page_id=30 The Vegan Diet for Infants and Children http://www.vegansociety.com/articles/veganchildren1 Healthy choices on raw vegan diets http://www.vegansociety.com/phpws/mod.php?mod=userpage & menu=104 & page_id=23 Kind regards, Marc -- Marc Palmer (Wangjammer5) http://www.wangjammers.org Java Consultants
