Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me... Raising my 2-year-old vegetarian, but he is starting to realize that Daddy eats things sometimes that are not offered to him. This is of course making it much more interesting to try. Further complicating things is that he has a 6-year-old half-brother who is not a vegetarian either...How do you keep things together under these circumstances??? My husband is supportive so far, but will not change HIS eating habits too much (although is eating vegetarian meals about half the time now.) Guest guest
How do you keep things together under these circumstances??? We had similar problems here, except that my husband is a vegetarian and I am vegan. I will allow my three year old to eat eggs, my husband loves them and doesn't want to give them up, our compromise was that they had to be from a local farm that doesn't cage the chickens. But, I refuse to let my son eat dairy and my husband won't bring it in the house. He will eat it when he is out on his own though. Maybe you could ask your husband not to eat it in the house, and your older child will most definitely benefit from a veggie diet, if that is the only food in the house, then he will have to eat it.
