I give him a chewable green-food tablet and a multivitamin every day. I figure, it's nearly impossible to eat a balanced meal every day even if you're *not* a picky 2-year old, so a multi and a greenfood supplement can't hurt. There are also liquid iron supplements that can be added to juice. And, due to its oxalic acid, spinach is not a good source of iron. Same with beet greens. Will your child eat dried fruits? If so, you may be able to find sulfite-free dried fruits that have decent iron content. If not, these can be boiled until fork-soft, then pureed to make a fruit spread that's good with peanut butter. ~Doh ------- " Whatever you do ... it is most important that you do it.
