Guest guest
Hello, I am new; mother of two boys: Solstice, almost 5, and Ryan, 7 months. Derek and I are both vegetarian. I am getting back into ovo-lacto; during pregnancy I crave chicken and fish; especially seafood. I didn't try to over think it, if it is safe to eat and I crave it during preg. I always follow my body. So now we are going back into the healthy and simplistic eating lifestyles of pre-children. Derek has been ovo-lacto veg for 10 years but is a carbo addict and has a lot of 'weird food' issues. He was raised in a house that served tater tot casserole a lot and so he is a picky, picky eater!! Then, his 5 year old daughter, Amora, lives with us on weekends and she has never been raised veg, and she has her own host of eating issues.(she doesn't like to eat anything. She likes food, just not eating, unless it is chef-boy-yucky, or ice cream. ) Then Solstice, who chooses to be veg, has decided that he does not want to eat vegetables. I love new recipes, though, and I am always seeking meals that all of us love!! I am excited to converse with other parents raising veg families!!! Love, Natalie Joy & her boys
Guest guest
Welcome! I'm Jan. I've been a veg. for 6 weeks. Hubby and I made the decision to become veg. ourselves when we decided to raise our baby vegetarian a couple of months ago. It's going well so far. David is one year old. Here are the latest pics: http://www.geocities.com/specialdavid02/ I'm a Reading Specialist, and I love it, but I've decided to take several years off to take care of my baby. I'm going to start a tutoring business. Hopefully, I'll make enough to make ends meet. We'll see. Nice to meet you!
