Madeline,

I got to the same point with my son, and gave in to cortisone. My reasoning

was, the damage that cortisone does is after long-term use, and I used it

for maybe two days and that cleared up the problem. This may be one of

those times for you, but of course you'll have to decide. If your son is

uncomfortable, though, I'd be eager to put him out of his misery.

 

If it's really eczema, that is usually caused by a food allergy. so if you

clear it up and it comes back, you might want to consider an ellimination

diet. Could be he's allergic to that raw garlic! ;-D
