Guest guest
Its a safeguard against burning the seventh or the crown and it is temporary. If you or any of the named people feel the heat begin to build at the base and start moving upwards then I would ask that the tongue be placed in the lock behind the upper front teeth as you John E learned at the seminar. - blessings - c nologo3 <esposito wrote: Chrism, About the following direction: > Eyes up, tongue down (for the moment) Does this only apply to the chakra breathing? I've been so diligent about keeping my tongue constantly up. When should it not be up, and, is keeping the tongue down a safeguard or the lack of need for a safeguard in top-down activations? (Alas, I had to go and be different...). John E
Guest guest
Sorry to be a pest, but the more I learn about these things the more konfuzed I get. Information sources on these things are sketchy and sometimes contradictory. The following is what I think I know, but would greatly appreciate it if you could correct any misconceptions: 1. I am to encourage (not discourage) this top-down flow? 2. This flow should be in the spine, i.e. the same place that a bottom-up activation would flow? 3. The purpose of tongue UP would be to complete a circuit whereby energy flows back down the front after reaching the 6th? 4. Recommendation of tongue DOWN (for a few of us) because at the moment we having barely begun (much less completed) such a circuit starting bottom-up? Much thanks for whatever clarification you can provide -- JE , chrism <> wrote: > > Its a safeguard against burning the seventh or the crown and it is temporary. Are you saying to keep the tongue down even if the K is moving up? (I'm not sure if a " sweep " implies one direction) I understood your other answers but am worried about this one. My tongue is habitually up, and has been so for over a year. It goes up automatically any time I'm not thinking about it, including all night when I'm sleeping. I'm still not clear -- in your previous post I'd understood that it was safer (for those few of us) to have it down in general, but if there was any bottom-up activity we should put the tongue back up. Is this correct? I'm worried about getting it wrong, and don't want to fry anything! Thanks -- JE
Guest guest
In most cases the tongue knows where to go and will go there. During your meditations and while engaging the practice, especially, when working on the lower chakras, refining them, and bringing them into the activation, keep your tongue up as you feel things occurring in your scalp and forehead bring it down and please refrain from going into fear - -
