Guest guest
It is not necessary to build Kundalini in ancient cathedrals. You are the cathedral. Really. What is available in the ancient cathedrals are patterns of devotion. Years and years of intense prayer. The comings and goings, births and deaths of thousands of people. Some are still there. Time isn't what it seems to the 5 sense mind. Time has overlays that do not correspond with linear time as we understand it. These overlays will preserve the freshness of strong and intense events. So walk around the cathedral and find the special area in it that resonates with you. And there go into deep and devotional prayer not meditation. Give but do not receive. Then give a healing and a blessing to those who need release. Whether you sense them or not. Allow for your love to permeate the walls of the special place (really do this) and leave with no attachments. Same with ancient battlefields. -
Guest guest
Thanks Chris, of course you're right. But last year (before joining this Group), I visited the Cathedral Notre Dame and an ancient church in Bruges and, without any anticipation (or intake of liquer chocolates in the case of Bruges), was struck by really powerful spinal vibrations. So while not NEEDING to visit such places to create a foundation of Kundalini, I believe, like music out of left- field, and (VERY reluctantly I concede) drugs, such experiences can accelerate the ascent of energy and possibly hurdle blockages that conscious processes like meditation may not be able to easily dislodge. In saying this, I can't stress enough my now self-proven view that shaktipat and disciplined methodical commitment to the path are crucial to achievement of continuing spiritual growth. Thanks for your fantastic support as always - John R. ============================================================== Chrism's comment: " It is not necessary to build Kundalini in ancient cathedrals. Guest guest
Devotion is a strong current and will give you activity, especially concentrated in a structure made of stone and inside the guidelines of the western mystical traditions such as Notre Dame and Bruges, and Reims, Arles (with Roman overtones). All employing the " Golden Mean " and other hidden tools of enlightenment. This is why conscious connection to the divinity can be so important because it will move you. Devotion being a strong frequency of love the Kundalini will respond too, and as you have had experiences reflective of that perhaps you should spend some time in them. Revelations still happen - <...> wrote: Thanks Chris, of course you're right.
