Guest guest
Chrism says in " Safeties " to avoid negative or belligerent behaviour while experiencing a Kundalini awakening. My experience is that the same applies when seeking the rise of Shakti or feminine energy. If it doesn't come to them " naturally " , males are taught to be aggressive, harsh and hard-nosed in most situations. I think that at least in my own case, this has led to many blockages and cynical rejections of things that are gentle, nurturing and tentative. The task for many males, including myself, is to cultivate the softer feminine spiritual attributes which will restore balance. EASIER SAID than DONE !! Again my own experience .....after inviting the soft and spontaneous lightness of shakti to ascend from my base chakra, I feel a flood of warmth and serenity AND a sensation like tangible breezes circulating and spiralling towards the heart, most strongly experienced when BREATHING (as instructs) the energy up from chakra to chakra. I then meditate to try and cement this quietness and positivity. BUT moving out of meditation into daily life, I have found the FOLLOWING behaviours are jarring and send those feelings of spiritual feminine (?) well-being crashing like a falling stone: .. Adversial behaviour or confrontation, as petty as disagreeing with a shop assistant's price total or as widely directed as seeking to change community attitudes through (say) a 'Letter to the Editor' on some social issue (political activism?). .. Passion about Sport, particularly the forceful body contact versions such as football. .. Giving unwanted advice or offerings of any type OR taking anything without invested effort. .. Aggressive driving (something refers to) .. At any time or place after use of impatient body language or a raised voice. .. On the lighter side, accidental exposure to talk-back radio !! Spiritual erosion actions or thoughts can be stress-driven, reflex reactions or stem from insecurity or self-vindication against all evidence to the contrary. The bottom line though is that, in my case, the behaviours kill trend movements in the subtle openings of blockages. Sadly, they are misuse of emotion and/or gratuitous exercise of male-endowed macho privilege. Forgiveness to all and listening to the whisperings of the emerging self are truly rewarding pathways to the maturing of shakti movement. I'm getting there. Love to all - John R. Guest guest
What you have just outlined JohnR, is a very accurate method of keeping the Kundalini, in its nascent state, alive and flowing inside a pre-activated awakening position. It is a lesson for all who wish to maintain longer periods of a " feeling " of this energy as it rises up the spine before the initial spinal sweep. After the spinal sweep it will be much easier to feel the Kundalini all the time, at will even. It is much easier said than done. Nowhere near impossible though. An alteration of a persons conscious attitudes under given emotional stimulus is all it takes and it really pays to take this piece meal, ie " Today no other driver will anger me " or " Today I will be peaceful and serene no matter what occurs. " In these scenarios you will have some difficulty in keeping to the format but you will also have some success! As with many situations with the Kundalini, practice is the answer, self correction is the key and steadfast diligence oriented attitudes will be the bridge. Remember this is for the " Preparing the field for harvest phase " of the Kundalini. Setting the stage for a clean and unblocked flow. Also allowing for a much stronger Shaktipat to be engaged. - Nice going JohnR. -
