Guest guest
Thanks, Chris! I'll TRY to make my intro short! For the group's sake: I met Chris through OOBE_Newsletter. In this group people were often asking me about Kundalini Awakening (which I had to confess I had limited knowledge of). I read Chris' intro on his web page and thought " This guy's childhood sounds like MINE! " Plus he too is a red head; which scores extra points! One big exception: Chris went to Kundalini for balance; I turned to martial arts training! I did not like violence, I just needed discipline (childhood from HELL). Because of my training I picked up on Zen style meditation in 1972. I also have read as much about Eastern thought as I could since 1968 or so…Unfortunately, all of my martial arts instructors: even the visiting Asian Buddhist Monks seemed to " poo-poo " away any " paranormal side effects " of meditation. Kundalini seems to encourage this exploration into the inner self, some I am very interested. I feel there are useful tools inside that could use some " awakening " . I made it to Master of TaeKwonDo and Hapkido. I'm almost 53 years old, but I'm ALWAYS OPEN to learn ! In my childhood I had all of the clairvoyant dreams, ESP experiences, spirit viewing (at appropriate times), and visions. I didn't hear Chris mention a `protector'. I always seemed to avoid death, accidents (and even being `spied on' on occasion) with the help of an unseen force. Until I was about 17 yrs old I would go into an instant " trance like state " and everything would seem to go into slow motion as I stepped out of harm's way. Witnesses said I was moving very fast at the time! Later several " gifted " people reported a Native American figure beside me (I didn't really `see' him myself until adult-hood: I'm part Irish, part Cherokee). Another thing, I almost died from cancer (twice) at the age of 49. Any discipline that can help with energy and healing appeals to me at this stage. I did not mention that I've worked as an RN in a local VA Medical Center most of my adult life. I want every tool I can use to help heal. I have taken a leave from teaching martial arts. My school stands empty beside my home. I have seriously considered making that building into not only a place for people to learn how to protect themselves from attacks; but as a healing center! I hope you kind people can assist me! Sincerely; Stephen , chrism <> wrote: > > Welcome Stephen and please begin posting as you wish.
