Mock Foo Young

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

10 ounces tofu -- crumbled

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon oregano

4 tablespoons corn meal

1 carrot -- grated

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

 

Blend all ingredients well in a blender. Form four patties and fry in a little

oil on both sides until light brown.

Variation: For a totally different taste cover patties with tomato sauce and

sprinkle with cheese.
