Guest guest Posted January 9, 2000 Report Share Posted January 9, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Italian Baguette Chips Recipe By : Cooking Light, Jan-Feb 2000 Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Italian seasoning: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Chips: 40 (1/4 " thick) slices diagonally cut French bread cooking spray 1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. To prepare Italian seasoning, combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl. 3. To prepare chips, arrange the bread slices on 2 baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Coat bread with cooking spray. Coat bread with cooking spray. Sprinkle 4 teaspoons Italian seasoning over bread. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until crisp. Yield 40 chips (serving size: 4 chips). NOTE: Store remaining Italian seasoning in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
