Oh here is a new treat to try sometime, I haven't tried it yet but it is just

under 1 point per cup :) yum yum

12 cups air-popped popcorn

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

2 tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup skim milk

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon chocolate extract

 

Preheat oven to 350. Place popcorn in large roasting pan. To prepare syrup, in

a small saucepan, heat corn syrup, margarine, cocoa powder, milk, cornstarch and

chocolate extract over medium heat. Whisk until cocoa powder and cornstarch

dissolve and mixture thickens slightly Pour chocolate mixture over popcorn,

stirring to coat evenly. Bake popcorn 8-10 minutes, or til crisp, stirring

once.

 

Makes 12 servings
