Guest guest
The Bread Machine Digest http://www.sonic.net/webpub/bread-machine/breadmachine.html Converting ABM (Automatic Bread Machine) Recipes to Manual ones 1. Gather ingredients listed in recipe. 2. Mix yeast with warm liquid until no lumps remain. 3. Add remaining ingredients, as directed in recipe, and stir until combined. 4. When mixture forms a large ball, remove to floured surface and knead 5 to 10 minutes, adding a little flour as needed. When dough begins to feel smooth and elastic and no longer sticky, it is ready for rising. 5. Place dough in a large, greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise in a warm, draft-free place until double in bulk, about one hour. 6. When doubled, punch dough down and let rest for about 10 minutes. 7. Shape dough as directed in recipe and rise a second time if instructed. 8. Bake bread as listed in recipe. Besides the baking time listed in a recipe, bread is done when bread is well-risen and golden brown. You can also slip loaves of bread from their pans and tap the bottom side. A hollow sound tells you the loaf is done. 9. Cool bread as directed in recipe, usually on a wire rack. Converting ABM recipes for manual use is simple. Simply follow the steps in the step-by-step guideline above and bake the bread at a temperature in a similar recipe. Baking a standard loaf of bread at 375¦ for 30 to 40 minutes is a good standby if no comparable baking directions can be located, but let your eye be the guide here. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!
