Cookbooklet

The next little Betty Crocker " cookbooklet " (the ones you see by the

grocery store checkouts) that will come out in a month or so will be " Easy

Vegetarian " .

I thought I would give you all a " heads up " so you can watch for it if

you're interested.

These little cookbooklets are actually some of my favorite cookbooks. I

wrote to the publishers of several that put out vegetarian ones every now

and then and asked them for *more* vegetarian ones. I received nice &

favorable responses from all, and one even sent me a free cookbooklet (I

already had it, but it was still nice).

For whatever reason, the vegetarian ones seem to come out in the spring.

Ummm -- is vegetarianism a " seasonal " thing? ha ha!

I have BC's " Easy Meatless Dishes " . I wouldn't call it " inventive "

vegetarian cooking by any means, but some of the recipes are quite tasty

using a minimum of easy-to-find ingredients.

 

They also make vegetarian cooking more accessible to the average cook, and

for that they're to be commended.
