Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cloves garlic 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh ginger 1 1/2 stalks lemongrass -- mostly white parts, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 cup dry sherry, dry white wine, or nonalcoholic wine 2 cups water 1/3 cup tamari soy sauce 1/2 cup brown rice syrup In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and straib through a fine-meshed sieve.
