Allspice Roasted Butternut Squash

1 small to medium butternut squash

2 teaspoons canola oil

1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

 

Preheat a 350°F oven.

 

Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds, then slice into

1/3-inch crescents. Toss with remaining ingredients and place on a

baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes or until the squash is

cooked through, but still firm. Serve hot or at room temperature.
