Guest guest Posted February 6, 2000 Report Share Posted February 6, 2000 Yield: 15 biscuits Stir together and set aside: 1 cup TVP granules 7/8 cup hot water1 tbsp Tamari Toast in a heavy bottomed pan for 10-15 minutes, until you can smell the aroma, stirring occasionally so as not to scorch. 1/2 cup of flour. Stir into the flour and continue cooking a few minutes: 1/4 cup bland vegtable oil or margerine Slowly stir in, whisking to avoid lumps: 4 cups of warm vegetable stock 2 tsp powdered sage 1 tsp marjoram 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper Simmer gravy, when it bubbles stir in the TVP. To serve, split a hot biscuit and top with about 1/4 cup of the gravy . calories 50, protien 3, carbs 4, fat 4. - | / \(!!)
