Mushroom Sauce

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

4 ounces mushrooms -- sliced

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

freshly ground pepper to taste

1 cup vegetable broth

2 tablespoons dry white wine

1/2 cup light sour cream

 

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and saute

until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add broth and

stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in wine. Remove from heat and

blend in sour cream.

 

Yield:

" 1 1/2 cups "
