There are 46 recipes from Canadian Living magazine ( 246 on-line ) ---------100 recipes from Midwest Living magazine ( 400 on-line ) ---------100 recipes from HomeArts magazines ( 400 on-line ) ---------100 recipes from Food & Wine magazine ( 400 on-line ) ---------100 recipes from the TV show 'Regina's Vegetarian Table' ---------154 Gourmet & Bon Appetit recipes from Nov 1995 ( 4637 on-line ) To download go to - http://www.ukrecipes.co.uk/ I forgot to post the URL last week when 1000 EAT-LF recipes were added to the archive ( 2000 on-line ) * Exported from MasterCook * High View Farm Linda's Lemony Prairie Cake Recipe By :Midwest Living Magazine Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : midwest4 Midwest Living Pies And Cakes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine 3 cups sugar 5 eggs 3 cups all purpose flour 3/4 cup lemon lime carbonated beverage -- 7-Up 2 tablespoons lemon extract Grease and lightly flour a 10-inch fluted tube pan. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter or margarine and sugar together till light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour, 1 cup at a time. Beat in lemon-lime carbonated beverage and lemon extract. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 350ø oven for 60 to 65 minutes or till a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Loosen sides of cake; remove from pan. Cool. Makes 12 servings.
