Home-Style Corn Pudding

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 15-ounce cans cream-style corn

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 eggs -- beaten

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 cups coarsely crushed butter-flavored crackers

3 tablespoons butter -- melted

 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the corn,

heavy cream, eggs, flour, sugar, and cayenne pepper; mix well. Pour into a

2-quart casserole dish that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a

medium-sized bowl, combine the crushed crackers and butter; sprinkle evenly

over the corn mixture. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until heated through and

the topping is golden. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
