Fresh Raspberry Smoothie

Recipe By :Feeding the Healthy Vegetarian Family, Ken Haedrich

Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00

Categories : Feeding the Healthy Veg Family

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1/2 pint fresh raspberries

2 cups milk -- (dairy, soy, rice, etc.)

dash vanilla extract

2 tablespoons honey -- (to 3 tbsp)

Scatter the raspberries on a plate and put the plate in the freezer.

Wait a few minutes, then pour the milk into a measuring cup and place it

in the freezer also. About every 10 minutes, stir the milk. When it

started forming large frozen crystals -- about the same time the

raspberries are becoming frozen hard -- transfer both of them to a

blender. Add a dash of vanilla, perhaps 3-4 drops, and the lesser about

of honey. Blend until smooth, adding more vanilla and honey if you

like. Divide among 4 glasses and serve.
