Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool. Remove strips of peel lengthwise from cucumbers with vegetable peeler, leaving alternate strips of peel intact. Cut cucumbers in thin slices and place in bowl. Add vinegar mixture. Sprinkle with dill. Toss gently. Cover.
