Drain the chick peas. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Crush the garlic and add it to the pan, stirring for a minute or two. Add the chick peas and macaroni, and continue stirring. Season with pepper (if the beans and pasta were cooked in salted water additional salt should not be needed).
