Guest guest
hi all ... am thinking of making the squash filled manicotti with peppery tomato sauce that someone (?? won't know who 'til i look it up) sent in a while back and have a question for you pros ... i want to make it sometime tomorrow - maybe assemble it tomorrow night to take to my dad's for dinner on saturday night ... so it will have been sitting for almost 24 hrs (refrigerated) before it is baked (i think it's just to heat it through) do you think this will adversely affect the recipe? thanks for any comments Tara
Guest guest
Tara: I think this will work just fine. I've done this with a similar recipe -- Pasta Shells Florentine. What you should probably do is take it out of the fridge and let it sit for about an hour before baking (so it won't be ice cold). You might need to increase the length of the baking time depending on how cold it is -- just keep an eye on it. Good luck!
