Guest guest Posted March 1, 2000 Report Share Posted March 1, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Baked Marinated Tofu Recipe By :The Soy Gourmet - Robin Robertson Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup safflower oil 1/3 cup toasted sesame oil 1/3 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup low-sodium tamari 2 teaspoons sugar (or a natural sweetener) 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 pound firm tofu -- cut into 1/2-inch slices Combine all the ingredients, except the tofu, in a small saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil. Place the tofu in a shallow baking dish. Pour the marinade over the top. Allow the tofu to marinate 30 minutes or more, turning once. Preheat the oven to 350F. Bake the tofu in the oven for 10 minutes, then turn the slices over and bake 10 minutes longer.
