This one is 6.46 points per waffle or 3.91 points per waffle if you use applesauce instead of butter. Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 4 Point 6 Point Breakfast Dishes Desserts Done By Dotties Calculator Low-Fat Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup Kashi® Pillaf, cooked -- cold 1 cup flour -- sifted 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon brown sugar 3 eggs -- separated 1/3 cup butter or margarine or unsweetened applesauce 1 1/2 cups buttermilk Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Beat egg yolks until light in color. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend buttermilk, butter (or applesauce) and egg yolks and add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Fold in Kashi and egg whites. Bake in hot waffle iron until golden brown. Makes 6 large waffles Serving Size: 1 waffle 169.73g (6 oz.)
