Guest guest Posted August 27, 2000 Report Share Posted August 27, 2000 Dear Group - In order to avoid confusion from trying to calculate Krushna's own ayanamsha, Krushna has decided to use a second option which will serve its purpose much better. Instead of looking up the ayanamshas in his table, he wants us to use Raman's ayanamsha PLUS 25 minutes, instead, which comes close enough to his own to accomplish the same thing. This is very easy to do in the Parashara's Light and/or Goravani, whichever you prefer and will serve its purpose nicely for our use. If anyone has any questions as to how to change the ayanamsha in their software, please shout it out now and Peter will gladly post an example or two to the list to show how it's done. Pretty soon the next lesson will be arriving. If anyone has any questions on the example that they should be sending in to Krushna, please ask now as it will only get more complicated later.
