Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I tried right clicking on your attachment with your astakavarga calculations and it downloaded it ok. However it only downloaded the plain screen, there were no calculations downloaded so it was unusable. However I felt reasonably happy with the GJ and PL astakavarga charts so I checked them out against the bindu distribution given in lesson 1 and found that the bindus were distributed exactly as specified in cahpter 1 in both cases. This is about the 4th chart which i have checked against the bindus given by Krushna and so far I have not found any differences. Onder the circumstances I am prepared to trust either of the programs until further notice. It is after all much easier to use than going to a different place to get the astakavarga chart. I would thank you however for the charts as not everyone has these more expensive programs and they will be very good for them. I have also been following the letters and comments made by sveral people regarding confusion on some of the rules as laid out by Krushna. My sympathies are with them as I also am quite confused by many of the rules. One point I would like clarifying is listed in rules 6,8,9 and others. The comment is made that when Venus is in Krittika and some other constelations and positions then it gets spoiled. What exactly does this mean - does it mean that a marriage will not take place, or does it mean that if a marriage takes place it will not be a happy marriage. or perhaps it means that the marriage will be delayed. What exactly does it mean ?. That is only one question, I know I will have several other as I re- study chapter 8 and subsequent chapters. I feel that Sandy is quite right - the rules do need some clarifying and perhaps a format where a rule is clearly explained and then exceptions to that rule follow - would be a good format to use. Guest guest
Dear Peter, You are quite right. I think Krushnaji would clear these points for us in further lessons as well as in the example charts. Goravani software, even if gives the same results in several cases, lists the planets in different order and lists these in order of signs and not houses. I find my table more convenient as the notation and order is similar to what Krushnaji uses. But I use Goravani to generate my chart data as I find it very convenient for the ayanamsha changes as well as for the longitudes and latitudes of places. So I suppose the combination that works best for you is the best.
