How to use PL v.4.03 to calculate

Dear list members,

 

I still use Parashara's Light V.4.03. This is how I get my

version of the program to calculate a chart using Krushnas ayanamsa:

 

I first figure the ayanamsa using Krushna's ayanamsa table in

lesson 6. After puting the birth info into PL I go to Options then

select calculation options and choose Lahiri then I put 01:01:30 in

the Specify offset section. Choose Varamihiras ashtakavarga while

there.

Then I go to Print and choose the Birth Chart and if you look at the

top of the page it gives the ayanamsa you are useing. I then go back

into calculation options and tick the seconds up or down on my offset

until the correct ayanamsa appears in the birth chart. After I have

the chart with the correct ayanamsa I put it and what I used in the

offset into the note section and save. Thereafter, when I want to

reopen a particular chart I can go to the notes and not have to

refigure my offset.

 

I hope this helps other with this same version of PL.
