Guest guest Posted September 28, 2000 Report Share Posted September 28, 2000 Dear Detective - << I had checked that too originally when I saw your worksheet, (I noticed the discrepancy also) and I do have 5 points listed based on the calculations (I'm using GJ) so I have 4 points for Jupiter in its own ashtakavarga of Virgo, 6 in Scorpio, 5 in Aries and 5 in Leo...The total comes out the same as Sach's (16 points) prior to the deduction he may have forgotten for Saturn...So I guess the ashtakavarga chart calculations must differ...What program did you use for your calculations? >> This was the automatic calculation from Satya's AV sheets, so it should be right. I was close anyway. . got the first two letters of their names right! (hee-hee). I just tried to save the worksheet Sandy did of Gore/Bush but the name it was given already exists. If I try to save- it wants to overwrite the existing one and I am unable to change the name. If I try to "save as" it will only save as an attachment file. It will not save as an Excel file. If you save as an attachment file you don't get any formulas or anything. If so, OK...Yes - there is a discrepency between the Goravani program and Sanjay's AV Worksheets - so Jupiter will have a total of either 11 or 10 points depending on which calculations are used. I will start using Sanjay's program (now that I figured out how to get it with Excel 97 ;-)), and we will ALL come out the same. So using Sanjay's worksheet, the value of Jupiter will be 10 rather than 11.
